When I was preparing this solo I asked a friend to discuss with me some of the questions that I was going to work on in the performance. She didn’t want to talk and just said: “My friend we are all looking for the same thing!"
Facing this indisponibility to dialog, a field of work started to apear aroud me where all of this comes to join the pre-existing or existencial doubts: What is this thing that I do? Why do I do it? Is it out of necessity to formulate questions within the performance framework, or out of an egocentric need for visibility? The art making not being an easy task, meaning that the directions one takes are being constantly re-evaluated, why to continue? What is this extreme necessity?
